2. This material offers outstanding electrical insulation coupled with remarkable water resistance. Its superior wear resistance, top-notch electrical properties, and exceptional dimensional stability make it indispensable. Notably, it ranks first in dielectric properties among all plastics.
3. MPPO is an advanced material crafted by blending PPO with HIPS. Every variant available in the market belongs to this modified category.
4. With exceptional heat resistance, a glass transition temperature of 211 degrees, and a melting point of 268 degrees, it stands resilient against decomposition up to 330 degrees. The higher the PPO content, the more robust the heat resistance, with heat deformation temperatures reaching an impressive 190 degrees.
5. Exhibiting superior flame retardancy and self-extinguishing properties, it maintains moderate flammability when combined with HIPS. Lightweight and non-toxic, it finds applications in food and pharmaceutical industries. However, it has limited light resistance and may discolor with prolonged sun exposure.
6. Versatility defines this material, as it can be expertly blended and modified with ABS, HDPE, PPS, PA, HIPS, glass fiber, and more.
