TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane), full name Thermoplastic Polyurethane Elastomer Rubber. It is a polymer material synthesized through the reaction polymerization of diisocyanates (such as MDI, TDI) with macropolyols and chain extenders. TPU has a unique molecular structure, composed of alternating hard segments (providing strength and hardness) and soft segments (providing elasticity and flexibility), which gives it properties that range between those of rubber and plastic. It possesses both the high elasticity of rubber and the high strength of engineering plastics.
