POM (Polyoxymethylene) is a high-performance thermoplastic engineering plastic with excellent mechanical strength, rigidity, wear resistance, and dimensional stability. 

Basic Characteristics:

(1)High rigidity&high strength: POM has mechanical properties similar to metals and is a lightweight material that replaces metals such as copper, zinc, and aluminum.

(2)Low friction coefficient: With good self-lubricating properties, it is suitable for manufacturing components such as gears and bearings that require wear resistance and low friction.

(3)Fatigue resistance: Able to maintain performance even under repeated stress, suitable for dynamic mechanical components.

(4)Chemical resistance: It has good resistance to organic solvents, oils, weak acids and bases, but is not resistant to strong acids, strong bases and oxidants.

(5)Temperature resistance: Short term use temperature can reach over 100 ° C (long-term use is recommended to be below 80 ° C).

(6)High crystallinity: Low shrinkage rate after molding, stable size, suitable for precision parts.
