PC/ABS alloy is a high polymer alloy material prepared by blending and modifying Polycarbonate (PC) and Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene copolymer (ABS). Its core advantage lies in the performance complementarity of the two base materials: it integrates PC's heat resistance, high impact strength and weather resistance with ABS's excellent processability, high melt flow rate and cost-effectiveness. Meanwhile, it overcomes the shortcomings of PC such as high melt viscosity and poor processability, as well as ABS's low heat resistance and insufficient impact strength. As one of the most widely used engineering plastic alloys, it is well suited for mainstream processing technologies including injection molding, extrusion and thermoforming.

Core Characteristics:

1. Excellent mechanical properties: It features high impact strength (especially low-temperature impact resistance superior to pure ABS), a balanced rigidity and toughness, and resistance to brittle fracture, meeting the strength requirements of structural components.
2. Superior processability: The melt flow rate is greatly improved, with lower molding difficulty than pure PC. It can be processed into complex thin-walled parts with high molding efficiency and low defective rate.
3. Good heat and weather resistance: Its heat distortion temperature is much higher than pure ABS, with a long-term service temperature of 80-120℃. It has excellent UV resistance and aging resistance, ensuring stable performance for outdoor use.
4. Optimal appearance and compatibility: It has a high surface gloss and is suitable for secondary processing such as electroplating, spraying and screen printing. 
5. Outstanding cost performance: It significantly reduces raw material costs compared with pure PC and greatly improves performance compared with pure ABS, making it a cost-effective choice for mid-to-high end engineering plastics.
